• 1 1/4 pounds of ground beef
  • 1/2 cup kraut
  • 1 Tbsp Worcestersauce
  • salt and pepper

Drain and finely cop the sauerkraut. Mix well with the ground beef, adding Worcester sauce, salt and pepper. Form into four patties. Cook over hot coals for about four minutes a side. Serve burgers between slices of dark rye bread slathered with butter and mustard.
